From Diana Rattray, your Guide to Southern Food
This week, recipes include delicious pumpkin cookies, a wonderful beef stew, apple bread pudding, a tasty slow cooker pork roast, sloppy Joes, meatloaf recipes, chicken casserole, and more.

Autumn Beef Stew
Here's a flavorful old-fashioned beef stew with a variety of fall vegetables and small white onions. Feel free to use your own favorite vegetables; add chunks of rutabaga, parsnips, or turnip along with the potatoes, or add chunks of sweet potato about 15 to 20 minutes before the stew is done.

Filled Pumpkin Cookies
If you need to make these quickly, use a purchased cream cheese frosting for the filling. They're great for Halloween parties or fall get-togethers!

Crockpot Orange Pork Roast
This crockpot orange pork roast is a slow cooked pork shoulder with orange juice, spices, and other ingredients. This pork roast is delicious with rice or noodles.

Pumpkin Cheesecake
The spiced graham cracker crust is a delicious base for this great pumpkin cheesecake, or use a gingersnap crust.

My Single Most Profitable Niche...

Check this out Southern,

Since 1996, I've tried building an online business in
dozens of different niches.

I've LITERALLY built thousands of websites, some very
simple 1-page sites, but YES I did say thousands.

Gradually, I noticed what was working like crazy,
and did more of that, and noticed what wasn't working
and stopped doing that.

That second part of the formula above is what a lot
of people seem to miss. They keep trying to ride a
dead horse!

Today, I'm in several VERY profitable niches.

I do teach that you need to focus on one thing at a
time. I do that, but I set things up as a system, and
then I outsource the work. Once I find something that
works, and that can be systematized, I flow it out...
and then I hand most of the work off to others.

I have numerous virtual employees that cost me
less per month than I sometimes earn in a single
HOUR. That's called leverage, and I have shared
how I do that in other notes.

In this note, I want to share with you my single
most profitable niche... out of all the niches that
I earn a nice living from.

I actually stumbled across this niche when a trusted
friend showed me how he earned a full-time income.

I had never even thought about his niche, but what he
showed me blew my mind:

http://timic.org/Number1/

After he explained what he was doing, we discussed
it, and I suggested he also teach it to others.

It's something that has such a huge market that
I don't think that he could EVER dilute his
results.

As you can see, from reading about half-way down
this page http://timic.org/Number1/
he agreed to share what he was doing with the world.

I helped him get the word out, and he quite literally
became a living legend!

When I copied his system, my world ROCKED too :-)

Anyway, you can see what my single most profitable
niche is... and learn exactly what I'm doing here:

The Southern Cuisine of South Carolina

Having trouble viewing? View as a web page.

Home grown meat and threes.
South Carolina is peppered with meat and three restaurants serving locally grown produce. Each dish comes with a side of cornbread or roll and a heaping helping of Southern pride. In the Upstate, stop by The Steak House Cafeteria in Walhalla or Wade's in Spartanburg. Try Lizard's Thicket for delicious country cooking in Columbia. Bertha's Kitchen is the hot spot for soul food in North Charleston.

Add shades of green to fall and winter meals.
Southern sides stay green all season long. Take your pick of green veggies like collards, turnips and mustards to create satisfying sides that complement hearty meals perfect during fall and winter. For an added treat, soak up the flavorful liquid produced from boiling greens – affectionately referred to in the South as "potlikker" – with a slice or two of homemade cornbread. In the South, we make going green taste delicious!

Family meals with Southern soul.
If there's ever any doubt on how to prepare the best greens, the tastiest macaroni and cheese or the juiciest oven-baked fried chicken, a quick reference to Sylvia's Family Soul Food Cookbook will clear up any confusion. The famous Harlem restaurant owner, Sylvia Woods, learned her way around a kitchen growing up in Hemingway, SC. Her cookbook has more than 125 succulent Southern recipes. To buy it now, click here.

America's best B&B in South Carolina.
Charleston's Wentworth Mansion made Food Magazine's "America's Best Bed & Breakfasts." The AAA Five Diamond luxury hotel was selected for its modern amenities and fantastic foods.

Peninsula Grill welcomes a new head chef.
Graham Dailey is the new executive chef of the acclaimed Peninsula Grill. He has worked at the AAA Four Diamond establishment as chef de cuisine for the past eight years. Meet the chef.

The Macintosh opens its doors.
The Macintosh was recently added to Charleston's thriving dining scene. Chef Jeremiah Bacon combines his Lowcountry roots with classic culinary training. Click here to learn more.

Walk this way to the Chitlin' Strut.
Celebrate authentic South cuisine at the Chitlin' Strut Nov. 24th. The small town of Salley honors the Southern specialty every year at this family-friendly festival. To learn more, click here.
