Fall festivals.
Just because summer is over doesn't mean the time to discover South Carolina has to be too. South Carolina is a hot bed for fall festivals! Tantalize your taste buds at the Kingstree Pig Pickin' or Hilton Head Island's Oyster Festival. There's even big fun in small towns! Check out the Richburg Fall Festival and Balloons Over Anderson. For more festivals and events, click here.

Corn mazes.
You'd never think playing in a cornfield could be so much fun until you try finding your way through a corn maze. Test your sense of direction in a South Carolina corn maze this fall. Come on, it's you against the kids. Who do you think will make it out first? Well, there's only one way to find out. Visit a South Carolina corn maze soon.

Bird watching.
Grab your binoculars and head to Hawk Watch in the Upstate. You'll have the best view of hawks and other high-flying visitors soaring through the skies from the granite overlook at Caesars Head State Park. The best time to catch the avian air show over the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through November. Learn more about Hawk Watch.
