Don't miss the fall color show.
Gather up the family for a road trip and head to the mountains for that annual rite of autumn - leaf gazing. Mother Nature will soon show off her dazzling work of art in the Upstate and you can see the fall color show by car, water, air or foot. Drift across mountains in a hot air balloon, hike easy or difficult trails or kayak the Chattooga River. Plan now!

Yes! It's time for the fair!
Fair season kicks into high gear in October and no matter what corner of the state you're in, you'll find one. It's the time of year many families look forward to. The elephant ears and corn dogs, the rides, the games, and the memories that are made always make it worthwhile. "Find your happy" at the South Carolina State Fair Oct. 10-21. Get a sky view of fall.
A roller coaster ride at the fair or any amusement park probably doesn't compare to the adrenaline rush you get when you freefall for 55 seconds. Take the big plunge and experience the exhilaration at Skydive Carolina in Chester. Leave an airplane at about 100 miles per hour, 14,000 feet in the air and get a sky view of fall and the rush of a lifetime. Go for it!
