From Diana Rattray, your Guide to Southern Food
This week, recipes include delicious little oven pancakes, apple biscuits, a great tasting macaroni and cheese recipe, lentil soup, slow cooker chicken, chili recipes, and more apple recipes.

Oven Pancakes - Dutch Babies
These little oven baked pancakes -- or Dutch babies -- use just a small amount of flour with an egg and little milk. They're delicious with fruit or syrup, or serve with warmed preserves and a dusting of powdered sugar. I used a 5-inch cast iron skillet, and it was the perfect size for one pancake.

Apple Cinnamon Biscuits
These biscuits are perfect for the season, or bake them any time of the year. I used Granny Smith apples in these great-tasting biscuits. Warm the biscuits in the microwave for an amazing morning treat.

Extra-Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
This is my new favorite macaroni and cheese recipe! American cheese and Cheddar, along with a little cream make this a super creamy macaroni and cheese, and buttery croissant crumbs top it all off in a great way.

Hearty Lentil Soup
Use a meaty ham bone, ham hocks, or diced leftover ham to flavor this tasty lentil soup. I used escarole to add to the nutrition and color, but feel free to use chopped spinach, chard, or other greens.
