Spring in Spartanburg
The Spartanburg Art Museum will celebrate spring March 8 through May 7 with exhibitions of American South landscapes. West Fraser of Charleston is known nationally and internationally for richly painted vistas of cities, coasts and landscapes, and his exhibit, West Fraser: A Southern Perspective, explores the artist's unique view of the South. In addition, you'll marvel at the beautiful paintings of Will Henry Stevens that focus on the Appalachian highlands and the Louisiana delta. Learn more.


Nashville, Charleston style
Country music gets a contemporary facelift March 17-26 when The Charleston Ballet Theater meets Nashville in this multimedia dance celebration. Resident choreographer Jill Eathorne Bahr combines her signature moves with the sounds of country music superstars. The dance company will perform in one-of-a-kind couture designs as they personify the powerful music of the current kings and queens of Nashville. For more information, click here.


Bluegrass in the Pee Dee
It's time for Renofest 2011, March 25-27 in Hartsville. This bluegrass celebration features a hoedown, bluegrass concerts, honky-tonks, banjo and guitar contests as well as a gospel show. Honoring South Carolina native and bluegrass legend Don Reno, the annual festival attracts bluegrass lovers from around the country by celebrating the simplicity of bluegrass lyrics and the soulful delivery of its performers. Artisans on the Heritage Trail
The Artisans of the S.C. Cotton Trail and the S.C. Tobacco Trail invite you to a combined exhibition at The Art Trail Gallery in Florence now through March 5. This juried exhibition celebrates the talents of more than 30 artists representing fiber, clay, silver, photography, paintings, glass and more.


Paris in Columbia
The Workshop Theatre of South Carolina's production of Victor/Victoria features a myriad of famous musical numbers, including "Le Jazz Hot," "You and Me," "Almost a Love Song," "Paris by Night" and "Crazy World." Victor/Victoria takes the stage in Columbia March 18 through April 2.
