Jacksonville, Florida Spartans kicked off the U.S. National Series in Jacksonville for an epic race weekend. The barbed wire crawl was a particular hit, as athletes tried their best to avoid getting caught on the swampy Florida course. Learn how to get the next National Series race on the calendar here. Málaga, Spain DEKA Spain launched its season opener in Torremolinos with a sold-out event at this beach-side paradise. Alfons Deu picked up where he left off last season, with another win in the men's DEKA FIT Elite, while Jezabel Kremer dominated in the women's competition. And for the first time in Europe, 100 teams took part in DEKA MILE Teams, a thrilling format for all fitness levels. Jacksonville, Florida Trail runners traversed the Florida swamps in the Gator Dash 10K and half marathon. They sure got muddy, but sped through this fast and flat course for the first Trail event of the season.
