South Carolina is made for exciting spectator sports. The Family Circle Cup takes place on Daniel Island near Charleston, SC April 2-10 and features some of the biggest names in professional women's tennis. But if you prefer fast cars to fast serves, head to Darlington Raceway for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series SHOWTIME Southern 500 on May 7.

Festival of Trees
Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach is hosting its Annual Festival of Trees from now until December 31. More than 50 trees will be on display throughout the aquarium and adorned in unique ornaments, representing the great diversity of the United States.
