💿 A Personal Note from the Founders of Rare Vinyl 💿

Hi There,

I'm Robert, one of the founders of RareVinyl.com.

I just wanted to reach out personally to welcome you to our community of record lovers, and generally share a little bit about who we are and why we do what we do. Incredibly, RareVinyl.com is now the world's largest online store for new and used rare, collectible, and hard-to-find records, CDs, and memorabilia.

But believe me, it hasn't always been that way.

 Our story began in the mid-1980s when my friend Julian and I were totally obsessed with artists like Gary Numan, ABBA, Blondie, Duran Duran, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood, anything on the ZTT label, and the 12" Remix Culture

Our compulsive listening turned into obsessive collecting, and eventually we realized we could make a little bit of cash buying and selling records to people like us. Our friend (and fellow enthusiast) Cathryn quit her job to join us as the third founder, and the rest is history—we've now been doing this together for almost 40 years.

 Throughout that time, we've stuck to the same basic principle that we had when we started: essentially, to offer the best possible condition rarities to our customers with the best customers service.
