"Wall Street is projecting a flat year for stock prices, with a median forecast of 4,750 for the S&P 500. That's less than 1% lower than the 4,769 where the index finished 2023. The most bearish forecast is J.P. Morgan's at 4,200, while the most bullish is Capital Economics' at 5,500. I believe they're all too cautious. I expect the S&P 500 to reach 5,900 in 2024, identical to the 24% gain in 2023." And you saw what happened next... The index ended up closing the year at 5,881.63! In other words, while the median forecast on Wall Street was off by a whopping 1,130 points... My prediction was less than 20 points off!
