Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff, Apple Muffins, Roast Chicken

Sadly, it's almost time to say goodbye to summer, but I always look forward to fall food. Slow cooked stews and pot roasts, apple desserts, and chili come to mind, along with fall and holiday baking.

This week features a slow cooker stroganoff and a delicious hamburger soup. Also recipes for green tomato soup, a superb homemade pumpernickel bread, and roast chicken with lemon and thyme.
