The NEA’s Radical Roadmap: 5 Resolutions Parents Shouldn’t Ignore

View in Web Browser "Once I realized how deeply political our profession had always been, I knew I could no longer stay on the sidelines." — NEA's 2025 Teacher of the Year   Patriot, It would be irresponsible for me not to let every American know what the largest teacher union in the country is doing behind closed doors, whether during their annual conference or in their 2025 handbook that they quickly deleted from their website once word began to spread about it.  I'm very familiar with the NEA and I was even shocked to see the resolutions that passed during their summer conference and were included in their 2025 handbook (that they have since deleted from their website)  Below are five of the most alarming resolutions:    To "defend against Trump's embrace of fascism by using the term facism [sic] in NEA materials to correctly characterize Donald Trump's program and actions."   To "use existing media channels to oppose any move to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education as an illegal, anti-democratic, and racist attempt to destroy public education and privatize it in the interests of the billionaires."    To support students' "right to dissent and organize against Trump's policies" and "against ICE raids and deportations."   To push more gender ideology despite the recent Supreme Court ruling in Mahmoud v. Taylor, to ensure that "all transgender students have access to the bathroom and locker room of their choice" and to protect student confidentiality, including from their own parents.    To "not use, endorse, or publicize any materials from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)," continuing an anti-Israel agenda.  I created the organization Defending Education in 2021 to fight back against the excess of politics and ideology that had made its way into our schools.  We have made a big dent in the problem but there is still a long way to go! Click here to contribute >>   Donate Here's how Defending Education is establishing a quality, non-political education for all students: Investigations: Our groundbreaking investigations expose the harmful political agenda being pushed in schools.  You have likely seen our investigations in the news.  We recently exposed that 18 states & D.C. are flagrantly disregarding federal directives on Title IX, still letting boys compete against girls and enter their private spaces.  We uncovered more than $1 billion in Department of Education spending on DEI-related initiatives. We revealed how the Biden administration mobilized the FBI against parents advocating for their children at school board meetings.  Legal Action: Not only do we expose harmful agendas in schools, we also bring them to court to change policies!  We filed a lawsuit against the state of Colorado (Defending Education et al. v. Sullivan, et al) after they passed a law to compel schools and students to use preferred pronouns.  We filed an emergency injunction last year to stop school districts that were violating Title IX by allowing males to use the girls' bathrooms.  22 states and 9 organizations filed amicus briefs in support of our petition to stop compelled pronoun use in Defending Education v. Olentangy Local School District. Parent Groups: Defending Education provides resources and training to parents who want to get involved in their local schools. Our resources and toolkits teach parents how to effectively advocate for change and push back against bias, activism and ideology in their schools.  This is an urgent call to action.  Please help me reach this critical goal of $50,000 this month as part of our Back to School Drive.
