- 3 practical ways to strengthen your mind
- How Spartans turn turmoil into power
| | Spartans,
This is Joe in Orlando, Florida, where the headlines scream chaos, markets are on a rollercoaster, and tariffs are shaking things up again. Most people are panicking, but not us. This chaos is exactly what we train for.
Last week, I spoke to 180,000 employees from one of the biggest tech companies in the world. The week before that? Goldman Sachs, Nemours Hospital, the Orlando Magic. Different rooms, same message: practice HARD.
People practice piano, speeches, cooking. So why the f*%k don't they practice hard? When life sucker-punches you, you won't magically rise to the occasion — you'll fall to the level of your training. This is why we do hard.
If the world is unraveling—economically, politically, socially. GOOD. Twelve million Spartans didn't sign up for easy! We sign up for chaos and adversity. Those things make our training ground, and this is OUR time.
If you've been grinding with our cardio kettlebell workouts this week, you're already ahead. You're building a life that doesn't turn to shxx when the world does.
Let's go.
Joe | | STOP LOOKING FOR COMFORT | Your brain always wants comfort and predictability. Don't listen to it. Comfort makes you weak. Real, lasting growth comes from doing hard shxx, facing adversity, and living in uncertainty. When markets crash, tariffs hit, and everyone else panics, Spartans stand firm. Embrace the chaos. Let it toughen you up, and keep moving forward. | | You Ask, Joe Answers | Q: Hey Joe, Markets crashing, tariffs rising… how do you handle the fear? - Mark R.
A: Hey Mark, I have trained myself to instantly imagine a MUCH darker place. A friend of mine panicked about tariffs hurting his Vietnam operations. I said, "Could be worse. We could be in the Vietnamese jungle in the 1960s." Instantly snapped him out of it. Perspective kills panic.
Aroo!
