This tumbler makes bringing my morning coffee to work easier than ever.
| TRAVEL DEALS | | In the Yeti vs. HydroFlask Debate, Here's Where I Stand | It might sound cliché, but, just like the famous Folgers jingle, the best part of waking up is definitely pouring that first cup of coffee. A morning coffee is a non-negotiable for me, and while I love to luxuriously sip from a piping hot mug, there are always those days when I need to grab and go. Whether I'm on the way to the office or to brunch, it is imperative that I get my java in during the commute. After receiving the Yeti Rambler 10 oz. Lowball as an office gift last year, it became easier than ever to do just that.
Before getting the Yeti, I was loyal to the Hydro Flask 10 oz. Wine Tumbler, which was perfect for a hot or iced coffee (and yes, for bringing rosé to the beach). While both tumblers are small and easy to hold, even without handles, I quickly found myself favoring the Yeti. Its Magslider lid, which can be snapped closed after each sip, made my coffee feel more secure than the Hydro Flask press-in lid. And because I'm always on the run, I felt safer tossing the much more durable Yeti into my bag when I was finished drinking from it.
This week, my coworker Nathan, who was also a Hydro Flask loyalist, tested the 24- and 26-ounce versions of the Yeti and Hydro Flasks to see which one he liked better. You can read his thoughts here.
