These toiletry bottles will help keep your go-to shampoos, lotions, and creams secure while in transit.
| TRAVEL DEALS | | The 8 Best Travel Toiletry Bottles of 2022, Tested by Travel Experts | Have you ever gone on a trip and unpacked your suitcase, only to find your clothes covered in shampoo or lotion? We have, and to help you avoid this major travel pain, we put a number of toiletry bottle sets to the test to decide which ones were worth their price point.
The procedure for this test was pretty simple. First, we filled the bottles with common travel liquids to see how easy they were to fill, then squeezed them to see how efficiently the products would come out. Next, we shook the bottles to mimic what they would experience in-flight—if there was any sort of spillage or leak at all, we noted it down. Finally, we packed the bottles up, put them in ziplock bags, stowed them away in suitcases, and threw the bags off of a ladder (the same method we used when we tested checked luggage).
With the results of those tests, we determined which sets were our favorites, also taking style, set quantity, and ease of use into our ratings. We were definitely surprised with the results—the cheaper sets seemed to fair just as well as the more expensive sets, especially in terms of durability.
For my personal travels, I like to rely on bottles that I know won't spill, regardless of their price or style. The Liquisnugs Premium Silicone Travel Bottles were my favorite and took the top spot as best overall.
