Reader,

If you want proof that the government's dietary advice is unhealthy and downright dangerous…

You don't have to look any further than the latest bombshell announcement made by the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC).

usda

Nutrition guidelines produced by the USDA protect the agency's cronies in Big Food.

In an outrageous claim, this federal government panel – which is supposed to develop the nation's nutritional guidelines – declared that some of the most dangerous foods in the world are suddenly "safe."

Let me explain.

Despite mounds of evidence to the contrary, the agency claimed in a new report that there is only "limited" evidence that ultra-processed foods cause you to gain weight faster than other foods…

And they may not be as bad for your health as previously thought.1

For the sake of your health, I urge you not to believe a word of it.

I've been warning my patients away from ultra-processed foods for decades. These grain-based junk foods are the root of almost every modern chronic ailment – from heart disease, Alzheimer's, and diabetes to obesity, cancer, and more.

I'm talking about foods like breakfast cereals, bread, frozen meals, canned soups and sauces, condiments – to name just a few.

Although the DGAC has called for more research into the health effects of ultra-processed foods…

The fact they have cast doubt on the dangers of consuming these unnatural, alien Frankenfoods is beyond reckless.

The truth is ultra-processed foods contain dangerously high amounts of fake sugar, refined salt, processed industrial oils, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, and chemical sweeteners.

Then there's all the synthetic additives that imitate the texture and taste sensations produced by natural foods.

Yet this announcement shouldn't surprise anyone…

The DGAC is one of the most corrupt food-advisory bodies in the world.

Almost half of the DGCA has ties to Big Agra, ultra-processed food companies, as well as Big Pharma and other corporate entities with major stakes in reaping vast profits from the unhealthiest parts of our food supply.2

You see, the economics of industrial food manufacturing mean you can buy ultra-processed foods cheaper than unprocessed meat, fish, fruit, and vegetables.

Government diet gurus and even some dieticians perpetuate this lie, playing directly into the hands of food processing corporations and their life-shortening products, claiming they are unavoidable in our modern world.

This is unforgivable.

It's clear the DGCA panel – many of whose members are tied to corporations like NestlΓ©, Pfizer, Coca-Cola, the National Egg Board, Abbott, the National Dairy Council, Eli Lilly, and other major food lobby groups – care more about corporate profits than America's health.

One DGCA member even received around $240,000 in grant funding from Eli Lilly.3

And it's not just the incredible damage the foods themselves cause. A steady diet of ultra-processed foods will also leave your body starving for the vitamins, minerals, live enzymes, micronutrients and healthy fats you need to ward off diseases.

Recent research from scientists from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center found that people who eat these fake foods regularly have a staggering 49% higher risk of developing lung cancer – even if they've never smoked a single cigarette.4

And it's no coincidence that two-thirds of COVID cases resulting in hospitalization have been attributed to four diet-caused diseases… obesity, diabetes, hypertension and heart failure.5

A quick look at the U.S. consumption rates for ultra-processed foods is shocking:6,7

  • 57.9% of the foods eaten by adults is ultra-processed

  • 67% of the diet of American children and teenagers is ultra-processed

Tips To Avoid Gov't-Approved Ultra Process Foods

The good news is that avoiding these fake foods and switching to a healthy diet is much easier than you might think. Along with sticking to the natural, primal diet we evolved to eat, here's what I recommend:

  1. Read labels. If you need to buy packaged goods, know what's in them. Read both the nutritional facts and the ingredient list. A good rule of thumb is to only choose packaged products that have less than five ingredients.

  2. Eat the right fats. Don't cut back on fat. Instead, eat more healthy fats like omega-3s and saturated fats. Your best sources are grass-fed and finished beef and organ meat, wild-caught fish, full-fat dairy, lard, and coconut oil. Stay away from manmade trans fats.

  3. Avoid unhealthy omega-6 fats. Our ancestors had a ratio of 1:1 in their diets. That means for every bit of omega-6 they consumed, they also ate the same amount of omega-3s. In our modern world, the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats we eat has skyrocketed to as much as 20 to 1.

  4. Avoid high-fructose corn syrup. This is one of the most processed and concentrated forms of sugar on the planet. One more reason to stay away from processed foods or anything packed in a box, can, or plastic container (even if it's labeled organic).

  5. Stay away from all alien sweeteners. Humans evolved to eat natural sugars. We crave sweet foods. What will harm your health are the artificial sweeteners manufactured by Big Food and promoted by the American Heart and Diabetes Associations. Splenda, for example, forms a metabolite that causes cancer. And aspartame is linked to more than 100 known health effects.

To Your Good Health,
