| | Snickerdoodles These amazing cinnamon-coated snickerdoodles are a big favorite for Christmas, and one of our favorite cookie recipes. Besides the whimsical name and the fact that they are absolutely delicious, your house will smell wonderful for hours! Try this cookie recipe and bake them for your family and holiday guests. | Macaroni and Cheese With Bacon Cooked bacon adds to the cheese and bread crumb topping in this flavorful macaroni and cheese casserole. Serve this macaroni and cheese with sliced tomatoes or a tossed salad for a satisfying and delicious family dinner. | Raspberry-Filled Almond Cookies These festive and delicious cookies are made with a cream cheese cookie dough. Before baking, the cookies are rolled in coarsely ground almonds, then they're filled with a dab of seedless raspberry jam. Feel free to substitute candied cherry halves or another fruit jam or preserves for the filling in these cookies. | Spaghetti and Meatballs These delicious meatballs are fabulous in a homemade Bolognese style sauce. The sauce is made with a little bacon and chopped vegetables. Make this sauce and meatball mixture to serve over your spaghetti or serve the meatballs and sauce on buns for fabulous meatball sandwiches. This recipe makes a big batch, perfect for holiday guests, but feel free to freeze half for another day if your family is smaller. | | | | Southern Food Ads | | | | Featured Articles | | | | More from About.com | | | | | | 2011's Cutest Winter Boots Snuggly snow boots are essential for women who live in cold climates, but still want to put their best foot forward.
