NEW JEWELRY WILL BE AVAILABLE JANUARY 9TH

Hope this message finds you well. It's been a minute! The holidays flew by, much like the rest of last year. Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of 2024. Not brand-wise—we made some cool stuff, and I'm incredibly excited about what's ahead. But on a personal level, it wasn't my best year. I'd be lying if I said my personal life doesn't have a push-and-pull effect on REBEL8. But one thing I've learned is that as long as I keep moving forward, I start to feel better. After nearly 22 years of REBEL8, I have no plans to stop marching.

Here are a few photos I took over the past couple of weeks, along with some words.

My friend Jason (Fever 333) loves this hat as much as I do, and honestly, I'm a bit surprised it hasn't sold out yet. It really highlights one of the biggest challenges facing most online CPG brands, including REBEL8: the inability for customers to physically touch and feel a product before committing to a purchase.

That said, I'm hopeful we can expand into more wholesale boutique accounts this year. Maybe then I can finally stop pleading with you via email to trust me when I say this hat is amazing.

I finally made it back to La Taq in SF! Since moving to LA 12 years ago, I haven't been able to frequent this spot I used to hit up monthly.

I didn't snap a photo of the carne asada burrito I devoured—partly because it's a bit embarrassing. Not so much that I polished off all these super carnitas dorado tacos, plus chips, salsa, guac, a large strawberry fresca, and that burrito, but because I inhaled it all in under 15 minutes. To top it off, I was eating like I hadn't seen food in weeks, only to find myself rushing across the city shortly after to find a bathroom.

On Christmas Eve, I made prime rib, and it came out great. Handling raw meat is a good reminder that it comes from an animal, not just a package. It makes me more mindful and respectful of the food I'm eating.

Spent some good time in Half Moon Bay, CA. I've always loved this mural on Main Street. It hits on a few different levels.

Finally got Dregs in a REBEL8 lookbook! I've been a fan of his content and the way he continues to shine a spotlight on San Francisco and the Bay Area. For this shoot, I also reconnected with my homie Ando, who I've known since high school. He's turned into a solid photographer, and I'm looking forward to working with him more on future REBEL8 shoots.

I wore the new Reversible Snap Jacket for my entire trip up North. I was pleasantly surprised by how warm it kept me. Really dig this silhouette. We've used it before over the years, and now I plan on making it a staple in the lineup as part of my push to create workwear-based essentials.
