Truth is, this type of daily stress doesn't magically disappear. Unless we do something about it. I've found the only effective way to control it is by having a "post-work relaxation routine."
You don't need to meditate for 30 minutes, do yoga for an hour, or get an expensive massage each week. I don't know about you... But all that stresses me out even more!
Keep things simple. Just choose one simple activity that helps you anchor yourself after work. It could be a 10 minute walk, taking 5 deep breaths, or cooking a delicious meal with your family.
If you can commit to only ONE of those simple things... You'll begin to build a "post-work relaxation routine" that's realistic.
For me, I like to put my phone in the other room and spend some time with my kids. That always melts away the work stress. So this week, find what works for you and start doing it daily.
