In a recent post on Truth Social, former President Donald Trump criticized New York Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over his civil fraud trial.
Trump questioned the judge's impartiality and rationality, especially in light of the judge's decision to require Ivanka Trump to testify, despite her no longer being a defendant.
Ivanka's lawyers argued that the court has no jurisdiction over her, as she is neither a party to the case nor a resident of New York. The lawsuit accuses Trump and his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, of manipulating their business assets' values to secure better loan and insurance terms.
The trial aims to determine damages, with prosecutors seeking at least $250 million in penalties and a business ban for the Trumps in New York.
