Greg Abbott told Newsmax on Wednesday that the border policies of President Joe Biden are causing him to lose support, even among the nation's Democrats.               "It could be that [Biden's] advisers have him on a [political] suicide mission," Abbott said during "Rob Schmitt Tonight" on Wednesday. "He is tanking in the polls. He's extraordinarily underwater, in his polling data on the border, on the economy. But his border strategy is turning off people, including Democrats in Texas, Democrats in New York, [and] Democrats across the country. It's going to make it very easy for a Republican to win the presidency."               Abbott said that he wonders just how much Biden knows what is really going on at the border, where record numbers of illegal migrants continue to surge.
