News from Rustico Cooking | | It's been just over a year since we launched our private Members-Only Video Membership Site, and what a year it's been! We've posted over 150 detailed video recipes. You can access 4 videos right now for free: Pesto alla Genovese, Broccoli Raab and Sausage Sauce for Pasta, Sicilian-Style Arctic Char, and Tuscan Panzanella... Here are just some of the recipes we've developed: Classic pastas like amatriciana and lesser-known treasures like pinciarelli (bet you don't know that one!); foolproof focaccia; authentic Neapolitan pizza both yeasted and sourdough; gnocchi variously made of potatoes, ricotta, or bread; sumptuous Milanese-style risotto; polenta in creamy and crispy iterations; braised Roman-style oxtail and Tuscan chicken with chickpeas; stuffed and rolled fish; our super-popular tiramisu; and so much more. Until December 31, buy one membership for $120 and we'll give you a second membership to gift to a friend or family member. We can even email you a personalized gift certificate for the lucky recipient! Check the complete video recipe index and buy your membership.
| | | | In-Person Cooking Parties, Our New Blog & Culinary Tour Updates We're offering in-person cooking parties again, following strict health guidelines at the beautifully appointed De Gustibus cooking school at Macy's Herald Square in NYC. This month alone, we've hosted private cooking events for Victoria's Secret, Royal Bank of Canada, EY, PwC, HSBC, and Lexis Nexis. If you want to celebrate with your colleagues, family or friends after the holiday rush, call us at 917 602 1519 and we'll customize the perfect hands-on cooking event.
We're also excited to share our new blog with you all. Last month we wrote about our much requested "secret" for keeping the weight off despite being tempted by delicious food all day long (trust us, it isn't easy to stay thin when you test recipes and teach people to cook 4-course meals every day). Other blog entries touched on how to turn a meat lover into a fish lover, the best ways to cook beets, making two meals out of one with beef braciole, and our favorite cool weather comfort foods. Check out our highly personal blog here You can always access it from our website menu under the heading BLOG.

Of course, our culinary tours to Italy are keeping us busy. Our week-long tours in 2022 will bring us to Tuscany, Umbria, and the Marches; to Sicily and Calabria; to Liguria; and to Puglia and Basilicata. Each tour explores a distinct regional cuisine and allows participants to discover Italy's most beautiful small towns. We're finessing the menus at each of the top-rated restaurants we'll be going to for private dinners, and putting the final touches on unforgettable culinary experiences like a Sicilian gelato class, a tasting of handmade Tuscan chocolates, the opportunity to make fresh Mozzarella in Puglia, and much more. If you're hungry for a taste of the real Italy, check out our tour schedule before our 2022 tours fill. We have only a few openings on most tours and our fall Tuscany & Beyond Tour is already waitlisted...
We hope we'll have the pleasure of cooking with you in NYC or Italy... and until then, we wish you and your loved ones a healthy and safe holiday season and all the best in 2022! Micol and Dino | | |
