As a travel lover and self-proclaimed shopaholic, I'm always searching for the latest and greatest brands to support, whether local or global. While I may admit this means spending a little too much scrolling through Instagram, it has also opened my eyes to an amazing selection of women-owned brands around the globe.

Historically, the retail market has been a "boy's club," with brands of all sorts creating products for women with merely a "pink it and shrink it" mentality. Luckily for us, there are so many trailblazing women who have made their mark in the retail industry and changed the game by creating inclusive products made for not just women, but for everyone. And with International Women's Day on March 8, I wanted to highlight some of our favorite brands.
